Our architect initially designed and built this home with the intention of living here. The house features 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, with one bedroom and bathroom configured as a separate studio apartment for flexibility. The studio was split over two levels within a three-level building that followed the terrain.
The exterior was crafted with corrugated iron and Abodo timber while the interior featured oak floors and a spruce ceiling. The house also incorporated a polycarbonate clear story window that ran across the northern facade to maximise afternoon sun, which offered twice the R-value of double glazing for thermal efficiency.
